About me

Hi! I’m Szymon Owczarzak – the person behind testrun.me. This is a space focused on practical SDET work and quality engineering: the things that actually hold up in real projects.

I work as an SDET designing test frameworks, automation architecture and CI/CD pipelines that help teams move fast without losing confidence in quality. I’ve worked on large-scale systems in domains where reliability really matters, like grid energy management and iGaming. Across all of them my focus stays the same: continuous quality improvement driven by data and production feedback not just coverage numbers.

Why I started this

I started testrun.me because I wanted a space to think out loud about this stuff, beyond my day job. Writing things down forces me to actually understand them, and sharing them is a good excuse to talk to people who care about the same problems. Long term I’d like this to grow into a small community where engineers exchange real experience and maybe take me to a few conferences along the way. For now it’s mostly just me figuring things out in public.

Discord

I also run a private Discord for a small group of engineers genuinely into these topics. If that sounds like your kind of space, drop me a line through the contact page and tell me a bit about yourself. I’ll get back to you if it’s a good fit.
