Who we are
Our website address is https://testrun.me. This is a personal blog run by one person. Visitors cannot create accounts here, so we do not collect any login or account data from you. We only collect the personal data described below, and only for the purposes explained here. If you have any questions, you can reach us at szymon@testrun.me.
Comments
When you leave a comment, we collect the data shown in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. If you like, you can opt in to having your name and email saved in cookies for convenience, so you do not have to type them in again next time.
Contact form
If you contact us through the contact form, we collect the name, email address and message you provide, and use them only to reply to you. Messages are delivered to our email inbox and are not stored in a database on this site. To protect the form against spam, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyzes signals such as your IP address and browser characteristics to tell humans apart from bots. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address (and name, if provided) to send you updates about our content. The legal basis is your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Delivery is handled by MailerLite, which stores subscriber data in a certified data center in the European Union. Cookies and analytics
We use a few cookies to make the site work, remember your preferences, and, only if you agree, to measure traffic with Google Analytics. You can see the full list of cookies and accept or reject each category at any time in our Cookie Settings. You can also manage cookies in your browser, though blocking some may affect how the site works.
How long we keep your data
Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages remain in our email inbox.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, except for anything we are legally required to keep. To make a request, just email us at szymon@testrun.me.
Where we send your data
Comments may be checked by an automated spam detection service. Contact form submissions are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. If you accept analytics cookies, usage data is processed by Google Analytics (Google). Newsletter subscriptions are processed by MailerLite. Each of these only receives the data needed for its purpose.
